To whom it may concern:

The SIT Program of World Citizens SIT Ministries has the primary goal of helping The Oppressed become Self-Sustaining, Industrious, and Thrift (SIT) and to thrive in any economy.  Appendages to this goal are outlined in my proposal called An Economic Proposal: Fact Becoming Reality.

The implementation of this work involves hiring experts, government staff, or staff from social service organizations who are qualified to organize this program and to organize The Oppressed in such a way that participants in turn are able to organize themselves and train those who become part of the program process at a later date to also organize new groups.

The program process will be in place once we have implemented the initial training because the communities that will be created by participants will be what spirals the continual organization and growth of the program process itself.  As part of the program process, participants will seek out sponsors within the community, and these sponsors in turn will provide the necessary funding to meet the needs of their community.  The program process will also depend on the needs of the SIT community that participants create.  For example, in cities such as Lancaster, new industries may need to be created to meet the challenges that exist and which often cause homelessness that do not exist in most other cities.

The costs, resources, etc. depend on the number of people participating and how much the cost is for hiring someone to initiate the process.  Because we are dealing with individuals attempting to get back on their feet, there is the cost of training and education, temporary housing, and providing the necessary vocational tools for individuals to begin a trade or develop a career.  Also there is the initial cost for filing with the IRS and the State, a total of $1,390 as follows:

  • Filing: Form 8718, User Fee for
Annually, Payable to ―The United States Treasury···························$   500.00
  • Filing: Limited Liability Company Articles of Organization··················$    70.00
  •
Initial Filing, Payable to ―Secretary of State
Every two years, Payable to ―Secretary of State·····························$    20.00
  • Franchise Tax Board, Minimum Annually
    Payable to ―Franchise Tax Board···················································$  800.00

  • Initial help sought··································································· $1,390.00

As the participants receive training, the organization shall seek sponsors within the community in which the program will exist, such as local businesses and social service organizations.

With the exception of resident, permanent, paid staff, all participants are given approximately one year to become completely SIT and living in their own apartment, house or other desired housing situation.  This one year is the time period anticipated toward acquiring the training, education, experience, tools, and sustenance as well as a secondary back drop to fall on in the event that the employment or career that the participant has falls through.  However, each individual or family unit needs will be different, so the one year goal is simply that, flexible but not the mandate.  The graduate will be required to contribute time to the program after completing the SIT Program in order to maintain his membership status in the event that help in the future is needed again for whatever reason.

My hope is that our involuntarily homeless, our involuntarily impoverished, and our fellow citizens with special needs will be able to develop successful communities that meet their needs and that a hand will be available to reach out to them even if they are not aware that such helping hands exist.

Sincerely,
