SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED BY THE ORGANIZATION
The Organization shall seek to provide resources to create communities that The Oppressed can be an active part of in order to receive the type of continuing support necessary to become and remain SIT. Such services may be:
• Temporary housing or a place to stay until participant can afford to pay his/her own rent or mortgage. This will not be free to the participant, but funding will be earned through work credits (both WCA and WCB) as discussed in my book. Los Angeles County’s G.R.O.W. program is on the right track as regards implementing WCA and WCB.
• Meals, snacks, and extra food, which will be a combination of what participants make, grow, and receive from either donations or purchases from their own money which all participants will have according to the ratio of cost of living to average income.
• Vocational rehabilitation, training, education provided through grants, scholarships, Sponsorships, etc. Provided resources may consist of tuition, supplies, and related extracurricular activities. Three Types of Employment/Occupational Therapy Groups will consist of Entry Level, Professional, and Change in Field subgroups. The California Department of Rehabilitation of the State of California has a similar idea as this service.
• Budget Training (Resource Management Group) and Financial Counseling (Money Management Groups). Tri-City Mental Health Clinic of Pomona facilitates a Money Management Group that provides interaction on this subject.
• Obtaining experience in supervising groups, managing communities, participating in legislation (decision making for The Organization), assisting Sponsors in becoming thriving businesses and organizations, and training others to be SIT. This will be carried out to help these participants become valuable contributions to society as they re-enter society and once they have received the necessary training to sustain themselves, their families, and all other dependents.
